KARCHER SC1030 STEAMER 2013-10-06
Ordered and received 24 hours later. Excellent price and as far as I can see only thing missing was the original box. Want it to clean the hardwood floors throughout my home. Only Criticism is that would have preferred a longer flex.
I had heard a lot about steam cleaners and the concept of using just steam to be able to clean practiclaly everything is a good one. I decided to purchase Karcher becasue this is the sort of thing they specialise in and becasue it's German engineering you know you are getting a quality product. Since using the SC1030 I am able to clean just about anything and it's really easy and takes the stress out of your chores. It's environmentally friendly as you dont need any nasty chemicals and because you are using steam it kills all the germs and bacteria too! Windows came up a treat and so easy!! I wouldn't go back now - definitley the way to go! easy to use, lightweight and portable and the steam seems to last forever! An excellent buy in my mind!
Generates a good rate of steam. Pressure is sufficient to remove kitchen grease residue from tiles.

THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I HAVE PURCHASED IN TEN YEARS WOULD RECOMMEND IT. (IT IS EXCELLENT FOR DOING YOUR IRONING.)
Struggling to get this machine to work effectively. I have used a number of steam cleaners and this one seems to produce very wet steam. Persevering...
Arrived next day delivery looked NEW but in a plain box. One part had been substituted and was in it's own new box. No marks and well packaged with recyclyed materials. Instructions were included, easy to get started.
I have used it for ironing, slight niggle is that the marker for temperature is not as clear as it cluld be, the yellow triangle shape merges into the background. Once overcome ironed like a dream.
I have steamed my curtains and some carpet mats using small brush and towelling sock, so grubby but look great now.
