I bought this along with a refurbished K5.700 washer. I'd already spent £145 having a professional company unblock some drains...so doing the maths I decided that buying the washer and drain cleaning hose to do the job myself was a more future proof and economical option. Nothing left to say except that this product works and works well. There is an element of withdrawing the hose and poking it around but overall it was very effective.
I've marked it 3 stars for value for money, because realistically it is only a 15m hose with a special head at the end of the day ..to give an overall 4 stars. A little cheaper and it would be 5 stars all around.
Rodding the pipe did not remove the blockage but the jetter did the job. It is supposed to work off domestic rated power units but it was found to be ineffective using a K2 series unit. Best results when connected to a 120 psi unit
Did a good job clearing an often blocked drain, will be using it frequently to keep it clear, a useful piece of kit!
Having called out a professional and was less than satisfied with his result, I purtchased the Karcher Drain Cleaning Kit which did the job remarkably well and within 30 minutes of starting. I would recommend this item - it does what it says it will.
Paid for itself and more with one use as local drain cleaning firm charge £90 each visit.
I have a drain that gets blocked about 10 metres in with fat every 18 months or so and I have to get Dyno Rod clear it with a 'drain snake'. Using my new Karcher 'drain snake' I easily cleared it myself in about 10 minutes, so it has more than paid for itself already!
First class product, works just as described.
Saved at least £250 on Dyno-Rod call out
